Call for Teachers! STEM Toolkit Review
We’ve had lots of teachers ask us how they can best utilize our content in their classrooms.
So we decided to build some toolkits…
Inspire EdVentures was founded by teachers, and we know how much easier building lesson plan is when you have a set of tools. Our upcoming series of STEM Enhancement toolkits are designed to help educators not only know what free content we have on various sites, but also information on how to use these tools in the classroom.
Initially, we will be building kits for the K-2 and Grades 3 -5 classrooms, but eventually this will expand to cover all K-12 grades.
Each toolkit includes a variety of engaging classroom materials designed to support and extend science instruction. These resources are selected for being appropriate for either the K-2 These include:
Short reading passages that will engage students
Videos that bring real-world science to life
Printable worksheets for hands-on learning and reflection
Kid-friendly podcasts to spark curiosity and discussion
Everything is built with K–5 classrooms in mind—easy to implement, flexible for different teaching styles, and designed by science educators with years of classroom and curriculum experience.
Where appropriate, resources are indicated for their alignment with state science standards. For the demo version we are using NC standards, but alignments to other states are in works.
Where do You Fit in?
We need your help! We are looking for teachers to review our first toolkit. While this is being developed for the K-2 classroom, grade 3-5 teachers can also complete a review. You don’t need a science background to participate, but we are looking for individuals who teach science/STEM content and who would be available this summer for review work.
Here’s what this opportunity looks like:
You’ll review the free version of our STEM toolkit.
It’s science-based, simple to navigate, and should take no more than 30 minutes.
In return, you’ll receive a $25 Amazon gift card as a thank-you.
Later this summer, we’ll be inviting a second round of reviewers to look at the premium version, and those who participate will receive a full version of the toolkit for their school.
